What's new, Brick?

Anime Anonymous gets updated whenever I feel like it. Here's all the updates in AA's history in reverse-chronological order.

8.12.05 - AA gets its first ever piece of good hate mail! Awesome!

7.16.05 - The review I wanted to do for AA's second birthday (on June 14th, for those keeping track) wasn't possible due to the fact that the frickin' last DVD wasn't out yet. So I decided to hold off and update on my birthday instead! So go read a review of some good wheat while celebrating to monumental occassions at once! Hurrah!

5.21.05 - Rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated! Um... wait, were there any rumors that I was dead? No, probably not. In any case, I've been paying Netflix $17 a month for the privelage of leaving a stack of anime on my desk to collect dust, so I figured I'd get back to work on this site. Net loss to me: - $34.00. Net gain to you: one Noir review.

3.9.05 - Well, the weekly update thing was fun for a while, but it looks like we're now back to just "updating whenever I feel like". Although when you see what I actually had to review I think maybe you'll sympathize with my plight.

1.28.05 - AA's thirtieth review! Yay! Or not, considering it's a really terrible one. The anime, that is. Not the review. The review is pretty good.

1.21.05 - New review: Haibane Renmei . Two consultants were called in for this review: Sei, who helped explain the story in such a way that my dense Floridian ears could comprehend, and DFalcon who has stepped up as AA's official proofreader. Anime Anonymous, now with 58% less spelling and grammatical errors! In other news, this is AA's twenty-ninth (29th) review. #30 is a review of an anime so shocking, so horrible that you'll have to wait until next Friday to read it. The horror!

1.14.05 - This is the sixth on-time weekly update in a row. Well, on-time-ish. If I can keep this up through the rest of the month, I think I might add an "Updated Every Friday!" blurb to the front page. Immediately after which, of course, I would start slacking off with the updates. Here is a link to the review, by the way. Let the slacking commence! See you lot in August.

1.7.05 - Thought I'd change things up just a little and, for once, review something that isn't anime .

12.31.04 - Well folks, 2004 has come to an end, and so has my 39-episode viewing of Nadia: Secret of Blue Water . All good things come to an end, and thankfully so do some of the bad ones. As an extra treat, I've also included a page that comments on the controversial Nadia vs. Atlantis debate and another one that makes fun of Nadia's song lyrics . See you guys in 2005!

12.24.04 - Merry Christmas, everyone.

12.18.04 - Looks like there will be two more updates before the end of the year, not counting this one .

12.10.04 - I'm making a conscious effort to update more often. No foolin'. Would you actually believe I have a review written that I'm not going to post for a while? Seriously! I'm starting to write them in advance so I can post them in the future. This is (possibly) the first step in a semi-regular update schedule. There is a TON of stuff on my plate right now (still two more discs to watch of Nadia, a few more episodes of Grenadier to go, I've got some Teen Titans I want to get through, and that's to say nothing of the small army of anime queued up in Netflix). For now though here's another Ghibli review: Grave of the Fireflies .

11.25.04 - HAPPY THANKSGIVING! While slowly making my way through a 30+ episode series in preparation of a huge AA review extravaganza, I took a break to watch some anime butcher my favorite fairy tale . Enjoy!

10.15.04 - Hey, it could have been worse. I could have reviewed the one with Jean-Claude Van Damme .

9.3.04 - I fell asleep in July and just now woke up. In my groggy half-conscious state I reviewed Chrono Crusade . Enjoy.

7.5.04 - Yesterday I celebrated the independance of this great nation by drinking liquor and attempting karaoke. Today I wrote a Lupin the 3rd review. Are the two incidents related? Would it matter if they were?

7.2.04 - This review has actually been done for like a week, I just forgot to upload it. Oops. That's okay though; it isn't a very good review anyway .

6.14.04 - Happy birthday AA! To celebrate the site's first anniversary, I've reviewed the best anime ever made . Enjoy!

5.25.04 - The next update comes only a month later. And since two weeks of that month was spent on vacation when I couldn't have updated even if I had wanted to, really it's only two weeks later. And since at least twelve days were required to watch the target anime in question and then get over the emotional stress of having seen it, you've really only been waiting two days for this Final Fantasy Unlimited review.

4.27.04 - New review (finally): Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust . Also, I'm going to use dots and not slashes from now on in the date.

1/3/2004 - Happy New Year! What better way to celebrate than with some wheat?

12/27/2003 - Tis the season for a Love Hina review. Merry (belated) Christmas!

12/16/2003 - I waited just long enough so that I couldn't claim to have monthly updates, then wrote this. And some people might not even consider it anime. Am I a cheater? Or just a filthy lazy slacker? Aw, come on... can't I be both?

11/15/2003 - I would offer my Spirited Away review as evidence that I really don't hate all anime, if it weren't voided by the fact that this particular movie is impossible to dislike.

11/11/2003 - Making up for lost time? Hell freezing over? Or just a case of terminal boredom? Who cares - dig this Fooly Cooly review.

11/10/2003 - I came to my senses for a few months and didn't review any anime. But now that I'm back to my old carving-pentagrams-in-my-own-flesh crazy self again, I figured I'd step up to the plate with a Trigun review.

7/5/2003 - Strangely enough, there was more wheat than chaff on the site. So I'm balancing things out again by adding a review of Ninja Scroll.

7/4/2003 - Enchanting new review: Kiki's Delivery Service.

6/29/2003 - Gotta eat your Wheaties: Inuyasha.

6/26/2003 - Balancing the karma of the universe with a Hamtaro review.

6/23/2003 - I have watched the most horrid, unspeakable anime ever drawn. The bad news is it has destroyed my soul and made me hate all life and light. The good news is, they simply cannot possibly get any worse than Ebichu.

6/19/2003 - The World of Narue is a documentary about alien panty-wearing practices. Either that, or it just sucks.

6/18/2003 - How do the reviews work? This is how the reviews work. Now you know how the reviews work.

6/16/2003 - I was going to save this one for later on down the line, but I just can't help myself: .hack//SIGN review.

6/15/2003 - First AA review: Read or Die! Just to prove I'm not a bad guy, the first review is a good one.

6/14/2003 - A detailed list of why I don't like anime detailing all the annoying bits of the genre I find so hard to put up with.
